Preparing for Your Consultation at DeLozier Robbins Plastic Surgery in Nashville
Are you wondering what to expect when you visit DeLozier Robbins Plastic Surgery for a consultation?
The consultation is an essential step in the process of considering plastic surgery. It is the visit in which you will meet with board certified cosmetic surgeon Dr. DeLozier or Nashville plastic surgeon Dr. Robbins, and you will meet our staff who will be with you throughout the process. This is your opportunity to ask questions that you have wanted to know about the procedure you are interested in. Dr. DeLozier or Dr. Robbins will determine if you are a candidate for that procedure. The consultation usually takes about an hour and involves a few different steps. There is a $75.00 consultation fee. This fee is deducted from the cost of your procedure.
Registration
Upon your arrival, our front desk coordinator will greet you and obtain the basic information such as your demographic sheets, medical history, and insurance cards if necessary. You will then be seated in our comfortable waiting room.
Physician Consultation
A member of our medical staff will escort you to one of the examination rooms. She will obtain basic information from you about what procedures you are interested in. Your surgeon will then meet with you to discuss your goals and concerns. He will give you his professional opinion about which procedures may meet your desired goals and objectives. We have before and after photo albums of each of the various procedures so you can better view realistic surgical results.
Meeting with the Patient Care Coordinator
After your consultation with Dr. DeLozier or Dr. Robbins, you will then be escorted to meet with our Patient Care Coordinator, Sarah Hughes. She will discuss the cost of the procedure and discuss the various financial options for your surgery. If you have a particular surgery date in mind and would like to schedule surgery, she will work with you to accommodate your schedule. If you are only in the information gathering stage, she will answer any remaining questions you may have and is your contact person for any future scheduling needs.
After Your Consultation
After your appointment, if you still have some remaining questions or concerns, we are available to answer those. Our surgeons are happy to see you for a second consultation, if you would like. We have several patients who are more than willing to talk with you about their surgical experience at DeLozier Robbins Plastic Surgery.
